so i'm not that skilled with my sewing machine and i REALLY want to be! i've had it for almost 2 1/2 years and i'm always on it but youtube and self teaching can only take me so far... there is a really amazing crafty store here in houston and they offer classes to help teach you to sew and quilt and all kinds of things... but classes are kinda pricey... the one i really want to take is 78 bucks! everything is included which is great.
so my question is... would it be worth it to take a class? i've tried to self teach and i can't get it! maybe a class is the way to go? have they helped you out??

I've taken sewing classes & quilting classes and they really do help, in my opinion!

I have never taken a class as my mother is a seamstress and taught me. I have been sewing for 33 years. I am sure it would be awesome to take the class!!!! If you take it, I would love to know how you like it! Smile I am thinking of taking a quilting class. I have never done a quilt and sure I can figure it out but sometimes it's nice to just take a class!

I took a class once and have a very expensive designer bag. LOL I just can't see putting all that money out for something that you can learn yourself, it just takes practice.
