Shelly Mitchell had a great vision of taking non-traditional materials and finding ways to use them in memory keeping. Funky textures are inspiring to her. But her focus is always on how to tell the stories of our lives.

So in keeping with her Commitment to Creativity and Innovation.......

This CONTEST I challenge you to create a project, layout,card that:

1.) That has a hint of Texture (Fabric)
2.) Your project, layout card's base must be on kraft, chipboard, cardboard.

This will be a tough challenge yet one that will be very rewarding!

You have till..July 25th... so go get your mojo flowing.

FYI:
*You can enter as many time as you would like. However your work will be judged on your overall entries as a whole and not just on one individual entry.
*Your entry will also have to be a never before seen in "Our Gallery" entry.
*I have allowed voting abilities in the Gallery...however in order to be fair to all we retain the right to choose the winner since the voting is a tool to help guide us.

Here is my first entry.

omg i'm SO all over this!!

OKAY SO I KNOW I'M NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN....but wanted to create some inspiration for this challenge anyway So here is a layout I did as a tribute to my American Eagle Jeans that I love so dearly...I haven't been able to buy any for a while b/c the kids clothes always come first...but over the weekend I went to the Concord Mills Mall and got two pair for only $13.97 each!!! I was so excited to be back in the most comfy jeans ever so decided to scrap about it...didn't have a picture yet, but used the bag from American Eage on the layout and inked the canvas to blue...the background is corrugated cardboard...also have some fabric thickers on there..TFL!! This was so much fun. I will do another layout with a pic of them on one day!!! LOL
