Just for Fun - 7 things....

I have been feeling extra unattractive this week and just overall run down. I don't know if it's the heat and humidity that's making me feel like a bloated fish out water or what but I'm in rare form and being my own worst critic right now.

Today I thought it'd be fun to list 7 things you like about yourself. GO!

2. My shoulders and back (is that weird?)
3. My boobs (they are my best asset - hahahahaha)
4. I'm smart
5. I'm creative
6. My sense of humor
7. I'm like a dog - very loyal until you beat me and steal my food

love the reminder to think positive thoughts about myself when it's so easy to pick apart the negative thoughts i have about me....thanks renee!!!

Oh my goodness! You girls are sooooooooooo gonna make me cry!!! I wish I could personally hug each of you right now!

I KNOW that I can say the same for each of you too! One thing I love about this board is the women on here and y'all are the best. Each of you inspire me daily. I love that we are all different but the same when it comes down to it. We all share a love for the arts and as women can support each other. You have no idea how amazing that is to find on a message board!

Sherry - you ARE the best cheerleader (and I agree that you have GREAT hair). And I love your creativity. Seeing your work puts an instant smile on my face because you can feel the love in each page. You're heart is so kind and I'm sure you make those around you at ease with your laid back personality! I'm sure that your circle of friends are happy to know you. I know I am!

Jessi - you are beautiful (has anyone told you that you resemble Alyssa Milano?) and your talent with the arts is amazing. I love how you are multi-leveled talented and you are true to yourself. I love how you find inspiration in everything and in turn inspires those around you with your energy. Your heart is so big and giving and I love that about you! I feel lucky we have become fast friends!

Carrie - When I grow up I want to be like you! Seriously! You are hip, trendy, have a great eye for design. You take awesome photos and your scrapbooking style is amazing! I've been on the boards with you awhile now and consider myself very lucky to have your encouragement, inspiration, quirkiness, motherly love and who can resist your awesome sense of humor the past few years.

Lora - I know we just "met" but you have one of the personalities that makes me feel like I've known you for a while! You are a great person! I like that you are quick witted with your fun sense of humor. I like your zest and your loyalty (plus I bet we would have A BLAST together at the Twilight series movies). I love your eclectic side - to me that shows in your art (which is an AWESOME thing!) You remind me a lot of my late aunt, actually. You look a little like her too (she was beautiful - always thought she'd make a great model).

I had an extremely hard few days where I have questioned everything I have done this year....

But coming tonight to the boards here and seeing you girls all be so selfless has just made it all worth it!!!!!

This is exactly what I envisioned , a community of strong confident women who do not need to tear each other down but lift each other up. Who are secure enough to give a kind word when needed, to admit that sometimes we do not have all the answers, to appreciate each others uniqueness and differences, to learn to embrace our own unique gifts while being challenged to grow.
