Second...Sherry, no way are you 46 years old. I NEVER would've thought that!
You look like you are 30!!!

1. I live in upstate NY - little city north of Syracuse.

4. My hubs and I grew up on the same city street. (Our parents still live on said street!)
5. We used to walk home from high school together and play fooz ball in his basement.
6. We never dated until we were in our twenties.
7. We went to Cancun on our honeymoon - when no one knew where Cancun was. LOL!
8. We have two sons - ages 24 & 21.5 - both blonde and blue eyed handsome guys.
9. The hubs and I love to travel and will go to Aruba for trip #4 this Spring.
10. We've visited 14 National Parks in the U.S.
11. I don't love exercise. I make myself do it so that I can zip my jeans.
12. I love coffee - strong and black!
13. I went on one cruise - and was sick the entire time the boat was moving.
14. I LOVE the beach and once the hubs retires, we will become "snowbirds".
15. I was engaged to be married for 4 years to someone else (before hooking up w/the hubs). When we broke up, I returned my wedding dress and used the cash to buy a train ticket to Florida. Started dating the hubs 2 weeks later - we made a big bon fire with the matches and napkins that were printed for my called off wedding - lit it right in the middle of the street.
16. I have a secret stash of chocolate in my craft room.
17. I LOVE to laugh - in high school, I was voted to have the "best laugh". haha, right?
18. I would bake every day if I could.
19. My mom is one of my best friends.
20. The beach - any beach - is my most favorite place to be in the whole world.

41. I've done some drugs. Before I was married. When I was telling the hubs that I was worried that both boys would be out on the road on NYEve, he said "oh come on...don't you remember???" I covered my ears!!! I did some bad shit.

45. I was born a blonde - but now my hairdresser keeps my color for me.

47. My father was an alcoholic. I loved him very much though and have forgiven him. He passed away at age 69, in 2001.
48. I love to read in the summer time. Being outdoors with a book is like heaven to me.

Thank you, Patti! I used to have my age listed on my profile but my son mentioned one day that I was one of the oldest ladies on the message board! lol Maybe acceptance is the first step.

I too have a nephew that passed away almost 4 years ago (he lost control of his vehicle, hit a lightpole and died instantly.) My heart goes out to you and your family. His death left a hole in our family that will never be filled but the agonizing grief does subside over time.

I'm sorry about the depression. You're still designing, just in a different way!

I actually do not have a degree (I've only taken a couple of college courses in Accounting. yawn.)
I just had a passion and knack for decorating and was working in a gallery full of designers. The owner took me under her wing and pushed me out of my comfort zone and told me I could do it. She was right (much to my disbelief!) That was 14 years ago, and I'm still doing what I love!

I heard an interview with Montgomery Gentry and they were saying one of their favorite fall things to do is to visit the Apple Orchard here in my little town. (We're about 2 hrs. from Nashville.) Anyway, even though I heard this interview several years ago, every single time I walk into the Orchard store to buy cider, I fantasize about running into Troy Gentry there - lol! Maybe one day..!

Oh Tracy!! How cool would that be, you never know who you might run into while sippin' cider then, eh?!!! Always have one of their CD's in your vehicle, just in case you get an opportunity for an autograph.

I had an opportunity to go see Rascal Flatts a couple of years ago in a small arena close to me, before they got as big as they are now, but didn't take hubs up on his offer & now I wish I had. They were signing autographs for everyone afterwards. ugh!
