Since we have some new members

I think it'd be fun to list some getting to know you facts so we can get to know everyone better!

I'll start -

I'm Renee - 30 years old - married to my best friend and greatest partner God could design for me - I have 4 stepdaughters ranging from 19 down to 8 and as crazy as this sounds - Tom and I are trying for one ourselves. He just went through a reverse V and we found out two weeks ago he has swimmers! So here's to hoping it works quickly! I also have my baby, Gracie which is my 5 year old boxer.

I love to scrapbook, watch scary movies (the more gore the better), I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mexican food, if my weight could control it, I'd eat it everyday!!! I am a VERY picky eater and it drives my family nuts to this day that I still am a child about that. LOL

I love photography, I love the rain and weather. I think I missed my calling as a meteorologist. I love the outdoors and hiking is my passion. That's just one of the reasons I miss Arizona sooooooooo much is all the hiking we used to do in the mountains. I'm a big goofy nerd and wear my emotions on my sleeve. I love to live life because as crappy as it gets sometimes - why make it worse by not having fun, love and laughter. I just thank God for what I have because I've been blessed with a wonderful life.

I'm Leigh, 38 years old, married to my husband, Cameron for 14+ years.
We have three children, who are the lights of my life: Austin, 11, Jonah, 8, and Sage, who will be 6 next month.
I am a teacher, but am currently working as a substitute for our division.
I love to take pictures, scrapbook (obviously) and read. I am training for my black belt in tae kwon do, which I hope to obtain in May 2011.
I am also quite active in the children's ministry program at our church.
I am so thankful for the great life that God has blessed me with.

I'm Joyce. Been married 19 years tomorrow. Enjoy long walks, cooking, and scrapping anything except masculine cards.

I'm Nicole, 27, have been married to Luke for 6.5yrs, we have 4 kids. Charlotte who turned 5 in July, Zachary who will be 4 in December, Deacon who is 2 in October and Adam who is 6 months next week. They keep me quiet busy during the day.... We live in Central Queensland Australia in the country, surrounded by gums, birds, kangaroos, dingoes, cows. It's awesome and I wouldn't have life any other way

I only started scrapping after Zac was born so about 3.5 years now. I cannot stand scary movies, or crime shows but LOVE true crime (LOL please explain that one) more of a comedy/romance girl, or anything set in the early 1900s (especially books), love car racing and planes wanted to be a fighter pilot love a good mixture of music, currently listening too Garth Brooks <3

I love to garden but I have a black thumb, can kill anything so our garden looks very neglected right now. My camera is nearly a permanent attachment. We're teaching our kids to ride motobikes, Deacon had his first solo ride today and Zac's addicted to the billycart

hmmm I could just keep going on and on and on but I'll leave it there.

Well so far I'm the eldest to post. At 40, I've been married to my husband Brian for 19.5 years now, and have known him for 23 years this week. We have 4 kids - Ty is 16 and a jr. in high school, Aryn is 12 (almost 13) and a 7th grader, Ethan is 11 and a 6th grader. My baby, Zoe is 9 and a 4th grader. We live in NE Indiana and have since my 12 year old was 9 days old. My heart however loves Minnesota and I do think that someday we'll live there again, maybe.

I've been scrapbooking since before Ty was born, so roughly 17+ years. I consider my style simple and uncluttered, however if I were honest - I just like quick and easy! Other than scrapbooking - my hobbies are reading, photography, gardening, and volunteering. I'm going to be taking classes next summer or Fall to become a Master Gardener - just to add to my life! I volunteer in my kids schools - in the classroom, in the libraries and mostly in the art departments. I also somewhat active in the PTC's at both the elementary and middle schools.

i'm carrie. i'm 48 years young.
married to my high school sweetheart. we were best friends all through high school and started dating in our senior year. almost 28 years later we're still going strong.

i'm mom to 2 great sons and a beautiful daughter in law. dan,24, and katelyn were married last summer. dan's a mechanical engineer and kate is a cardiac nurse. my youngest son dave, 20, is a junior in college. i'm also momma to a corgi dog, miss maggie. she's been my little buddy during this empty nester period of life.

i work part time at our family business doing payroll.

i started scrapping in 1999. i love scrapping older pictures/memories as well as current pics.
i'll admit, i am card challenged. it takes me twice as long to make a card than it does to scrap a page. i can't put my finger on it, but cards are so hard for me.

besides scrapping, i love photography. ever since i was a little girl i've loved taking pictures. about a year ago i started taking senior pictures, a couple weddings so far, and family sessions. i'm lovin' it.

i'm also a big bike rider. that too started when i was a little girl. my favorite past time as a little kid was to get on my little red/white stingray and ride as fast as i could down the country road beside our house. my hubby and i ride all the time ... we enter riding festivals and ride 30-50 miles a day sometimes. love it!

Leigh - i remember you saying you were doing martial arts but I had no idea you were working on a black belt! That's awesome! you go girl!

Nicole - I always wanted to be a fighter pilot too!!! My dad was Air Force and I remember as a kid going to the air shows. I remember sitting in the cock pit of an f-14 once thinking that is what I want to do. That obviously never panned out! hahahaha

Garsy - my aunt just got her Master Gardener and she loved the classes. I wish I had just an OUNCE of green in my thumb.

Kristi - I love anthropology too! Such a neat store - too bad it's way out of my budget but I love to peruse through there for inspiration.

Carrie - I wish you lived closer to me because I love to bike ride too. Tom and I used to do a lot of it when we lived in Arizona.

hi i'm lynn - i'm *cough cough* old enough to know better, but sometimes do it anyway.
i've retired for the 2nd time and hope it sticks..
i have a camera that kicks my ass, but makes me lucky enough to get good shots.
i have two kidlets nick 28 proudly serving in the army and shane 19 finding himself with his dad (and scary that is).
tom is my hubby and soulmate (about 12 years) and totally spoils me rotten. i get to do whatever i want and because he's my personal geek squad with whatever latest technology there is. i help him do the sunday crossword puzzles by googling the answers. lol!
i started scrapping about 10 years ago and if that wasn't enough i dabble in geneology.
love my life. its great. and never thought it would be mine.
i have 3 grandbabies so far, ALL boys and they really need to move closer.
i ride my bike all over town, because i need the exercise as i have a totally lazy nature.

I am Kristen 42 yrs old. I am starting out single again after 20 yrs of marriage (don't say your sorry it was a prayer answered)

I have a son Zack who will be 18 in Dec, he is on contract with his school this year and taking Running start at a community college. My daughter is going to be 13 in October, starting 7th grade next week- she is a joy!! We have a fabulous dog who is a boston terrier named Harley

I have a degree in clothing design with heavy emphasis on art just short a few classes for a minor. I love all crafts, I knit, crochet, quilt, sew, enjoy dabbling with new things like beading, clay, and even colored pencil art. I have been scrapbooking since my son was born, even owned an online store and recently closed it for a couple big reasons.

I am now on the road to being who I really want to be, starting classes next month to get a AAAS degree in digital arts and imagery, starting to slowly train for my first Triathalon (Danskin) for next year, lose the last 50 pounds, I rejoined my church, I am currently going to the knitting group and the next one is scrapbooking.

So I may post slowly as I get back into be the creative person I am.

Oh the litttle tidbits: Love coffee with sugar and creamer ONLY, No diet beverages for me. I love yogurt and green onion chips, chocolate chip cookies and love cute lovey/comedy movies and rewatch old DVDS without getting board. My favorite movie is Anne of Green Gables

my name is Kim and I am 43-single mother of 1,Jacob soon to be 19 who is a freshmen in college. I work full-time in the medical field (for over 23 years) running a small clinic. Yes I am a huge science/biology geek!!! I love,love,love my family most of my time is spent with them. I have the most wonderful sister and mother in the whole world! We have had a lot of tragity in our family so we stick together like glue. I love fixing up my little "old lady" house that is over 100 years old. I took a part time bartending job at the local hot spot to help pay for my son's college and it has turned out to be one of the funnest things for me. Having a high stress job Mon-Fri it is so fun to just let loose, laugh , and act silly!!!!

I forgot to mention what a dork I am!!!!! I am not 43 I just noticed under my name it says I am 44 what??????

My name is ellen and i am 34 years old. I have been married to brian (aka brain) for 7 years now. we have two sons..owen and henry, the are 7 & 1/2 years old. we also have max, our choc lab and chase, our boxer, who drive me crazy :)y

i work part time as a Behavioral specialist and pt an instructor at a local business college (associates degrees). one day it is my dream to be a professor so going back to school (again, LOL) is in my near future.

brain is the best, totally patient with me.

I have been scrapping for 5 years now and love creative stuff in general. I, too, would like to get better at photography.

I'm Sherry, 46 years old, married to my childhood sweetheart (George) for 26 years. We have two children, George (9) and Paige (6). Hubby & I were both born & raised in Indianpolis, IN and moved to TN 16 years ago. We now live in beautiful Signal Mtn., TN. We recently purchased a home on 8 acres so we're starting to live our dream of farm life in the city.

I began scrapping 9 years ago and was addicted immediately! lol I am also card challenged, I'm trying to break out but it's HARD!

I also enjoy reading, exercising and watching TV (I'm hopelessly addicted to Bravo.) Of course I love to chill with my laptop and hang out here and on facebook. I also work part-time as an Interior Decorator.

confession time... I am as CHEAP as they come and only buy from the sale section- there are some super bargains even on anthro if you watch.

Can't remember the last time i bought something retail price!

I'm Jessi, a stay-at-home mom of two wonderful kids. Before I had kids I worked at a Pharmacy, and it was fun, but by no means my dream job. I worked with fun people and that made it a good job, but my dream job is to open my own custom photography business. I'm married to Anthony, who is so supportive of me and my dreams!! He really believes in me, and that makes me feel more confident. I love staying at home with the kids right now...they are so much fun and I just love to watch them...everything they do is so new and exciting for them.

Other than scrapbooking I love photography, anything outdoors with the family, including biking, fishing, camping, or just relaxing and watching the kids play.

And I know I cannot be the baby here...I'm 28, 29 in November.

im kristy, im a labor and delivery nurse by trade, but currently a sahm. my hubby is currently in the army but we are beginning our transition to the civilian world (scary and exciting at the same time)

i have 2 girls who keep me insanely busy but are a true gift. 1 guinea pig and 1 fish.

i have loved photography ever since i was young enough to hold a camera. i have been wanting to start my own business, but it never is the right time *SIGH*. one day....but until that day, i will keep practicing. i love scrapbooking and recently have become great friends with my sewing machine.

I'm Suzanne, 36yr old SAHM to my three babies Kennedy Jr (KJ) 3yr old son, Kensington (Kensie) 18month daughter, and Kenleigh 4month old daughter. I've been married to my hubby for 14yrs. We have settled in Mobile, AL after his retirement from the Navy-having served 22yrs. He currently works as an Engineer. I began scrapping after the birth of my first kiddo, and have almost obsessed over it since! I dont have a "social" life..lol...my life consist of taking care of my kiddos, hubby house and home and with that, I am a busy woman! I'm really looking forward to potentially doing a little more scrapping since my three yr old has began k3...to date, no scrapping has happened!

Jessi you're about 17 months older than me

I'm Lori, a S@HM to my 3 children. Emily is 11 and starting 6th grade tomorrow, she's so nervous and anxious about starting middle school. Maddie (Madeline) is 8 and starting 3rd grade. Ben is 6 and starting 1st grade. My husband Todd is a banker by day and farms on the side. We are the 3rd generation living on the family farm in West Central Wisconsin. I'm a city girl having grown up in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area so small town living has been an adjustment for me. While I don't miss the rat race, I miss a little culture and diversity sometimes. However, the quality of life we have here is wonderful... the scenery, the wide open spaces, the stillness and quiet, the complete darkness and stars at night, the sense of community... it's absolutely great! I feel a little isolated out here sometimes, but I wouldn't trade it and home is less than 1 1/2 hours away. In addition to the kids, we have some beef cows and a red lab named Rusty.

I'm a greatest hits, variety pack, fly by the seat of my pants kinda gal. I don't crave chocolate, I'd rather have Hot Tamales. I love crunchy snacks and anything that I can dip, finger foods are my favorite. I read every night or I can't fall asleep. I love to take pictures but admit I'm not very good at it, maybe in my old age I can perfect that! What else do you want to know?
