I did once for my best friends wedding. It was kinda awkward with everyone stopping to check it out but I had gotten a lot of compliments!! I just wish I knew how to do makeup. I am such a simple person and don't wear much makeup. Just the basic foundation, one color eyeshadow and mascara. But the way the girl did my eyes was incredible.

Never could replicate the look. So I don't even try! It's fun to get made over though!! I say do it Carrie!

I had one done by Clinique before I got married. She did such a nice job that whenever I need a bunch of new makeup I go and get one done. I dont wear a lot of make up so maybe I'll get it done once or twice a year if I am changing colors for seasons or whatever. It is a lot of fun and they usually explain what they are doing and what they are using and why. Go for it! It is fun!!

i don't wear much make up either ... i got to thinking about MANY years ago, and i remember i actually did have a mary kay makeup makeover ... it was fun, but i was allergic to it and that evening my whole face broke out and looked like a big red bumpy strawberry ...

maybe that's why i blocked it out of my mind ... Smile

I had a mary kay makeover for my wedding Wink about a month or so beforehand I had a big make up party and we all learnt how to do our make up and what colours worked well for us. Great trial run.

I'm not much of a make up girl, own it all but I usually use a tinted mouiseriser and some lipgloss.

My mom works in the corporate offices at Dillards and she talked me into one of those Clinique makeovers. So, I did it.............so much make up..........stuff I don't normally use.

the only time I had one done in a store was before our Junior Prom...it was fun, but the woman made me look extremely pale...if the theme had been TWILIGHT, it would have been alright, but I guess I was vampire-esque before it was cool!!! LOL

I've had a couple before. A few I liked, and a few were not at all hygenic and kind of grossed me out. Seriously, check on their policy on the use of applicators, etc. The best make-over/make up session I've had was as Saks. They open a new applicator for EVERY.THING. and then throw it away. That's the only way I prefer it. Also, just a tip -- check out the person who is actually doing your make-up FIRST. If she looks like Mimi from The Drew Carey Show, then RUN!!! Laughing

Tracy, that is funny!!! But seriously, it's true...that's why I look at hairstylists hair too before I get something done...if their hair is CRAZY I won't even let them cut mine:)Smile
