September 2010 Article Calls - Features


Call 1: Time To Get Our 'Rule' On: It's time to see how you can measure up...send us those layouts that include rulers, measurement, etc.

Call 2: School Days: It's that time again, the kids are headed back to school. Send us pages documenting the first day of school or dare to show us what you do while the kids are in school--work, volunteering, chores, fun? Really want to go wild? Scrap your own school pages--big hair and all!

Call 3: Patchwork Perfect: We want to see creations with blocks reminiscent of a quilt. Show us that it is hip to be square!

Call 4: Flying High! Let's see those layouts that feature hot air balloons, kites or planes! If it flies in the air and is not alive (i.e. no birds), we want to see it!

Call 5: Picture Perfect. Camera phones such as iPhones, have the coolest apps you can use to take pictures. Show us how you incorporate pictures taken with your phone on your next layout.

Chic Street: Put your shine on with sequins! Share your layouts, cards, and creations featuring sequins with us.

U-Turn: So Thankful: With the coming of Fall and the season of giving, send us projects that show your gratitude for the ones you love.

Open Road: Put the focus on your journaling! This month, let a color word inspire you! Turquoise might remind you of your favorite piece of jewelry or a great sweater you have. What does tangerine make you think of? Be sure add journaling to explain the significance!

Easy Street: You can tie it in a knot, you can tie it in a bow! Let's see your favorite layouts using ribbon!

Card Corner: Be a good neighbor and create a card in honor of National Good Neighbor Day (September 28.) Whether you're welcoming a new family to the neighborhood or celebrating a friendship that has grown over the years, we want to see how you show your appreciation for your neighbors!

Crossroads Cafe: Are you a hybrid scrapper? Submit your layouts that use any hybrid technique and tell us what you love about this style of scrapbooking!
