Cover Contest

Each month we will choose one layout to grace our cover and that designer will receive a wonderful package of goodies as our thanks. All layouts submitted for our article calls are eligible. Good Luck!



October 2010 Article Calls - Features

Call 1: Halloween Traditions: What activities occur every year at Halloween in your house? Do you decorate to the nines? Do you attend a special party? Do your children always head out with cousins or friends? Is there a parade? are you the one who gives out the candy? What is the same year after year? Tell us your story and submit your pages!

Call 2: Things That Go 'Bump' In The Night: Send in those frightfully delightful projects that feature embossing.

Call 3: Dig in! October 14th is National Dessert Day! Show us your yummy pages featuring your favorite desserts!

Call 4: Show off your shape! Share your layouts that are not squares or rectangles. We want to see you embrace all of the other fun shapes to build layouts on!

Call 5: Strips and Scraps. What can you do with borders and strips of paper? Do you layer them? Use them as a frame? We want to see your ideas.

October 2010 Article Calls - Fixtures

Chic Street: The color purple is hot nowadays. from patterned papers or cardstocks to embellishments, call for layouts showing purple!!!

U-Turn: Spooktacular Party: From party favors to decor, making this Halloween simply boo-tiful.

Open Road: Put the focus on your journaling. This month, use personification to jazz up your writing! Personification is a description of an object as being a living person or animal as in "the falling leaves danced and twirled to the ground."

Easy Street: Let's see how you create a simple but attractive layouts using BIG photos!

Card Corner: Hey, Girlfriend! Celebrate the fabulous women that you call friends. Whether it's an invite for lunch or a spa day, or just a note to say hello, we want to see your card creations made especially with your girlfriends in mind.

Crossroads Cafe: Are you a hybrid scrapper? Submit your layouts that use any hybrid technique and tell us what you love about this style of scrapbooking!



Deadline is midnight on July 30th for all calls.
