| to put up Christmas decorations?? My hubby says "NO Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving!!" I REALLY want to put them up this weekend. We're going out of town for Thanksgiving and since we have a new house that I've never decorated for Christmas I want to get some decorating done so that if I "need" something else I can get it AND...I would LOVE to come home from Thanksgiving with my decorations up and ready for Christmas. What do you gals think? Is it too early? | |

| Yes, go for it, Bec!! If you are going away for Thanksgiving I definitely would get a start on it all! I've had urges too, but I believe I'll wait til next weekend anyway. | |

| I vote for doing it now, especially since you'll be out of town for Thanksgiving! You'll have it done and be able to relax and enjoy the holiday season. | |

| I have started too. I normally skip Thanksgiving since we go to my Aunts house but since Christmas is here I get started as soon as I can.
I can't wait to see pics of your decor !

| I'm on the fence about this one, b/c i think sometimes people get so caught up in Christmas they forget to enjoy the magic of Thanksgiving...but since you are gonna be away for Thanksgiving, it would be all nice and done when you get back....for you to enjoy. And you know what, if that's what makes you happy you should definitely go ahead and do it. That's my new motto on life "Do whatever you enjoy" So now I am with you...i just had to talk myself into it!! | |

| I've got to find a way to talk my hubby into it. If we were going to be here for Thanksgiving I really wouldn't put them up but....I would just love to have it all done when we get home. As far as missing out on fall...the snow is already flying here so the fallish feel is gone So...is anyone going to join me in the early decorating? | |

| i'm with ellen .... i hang onto Fall as long as possible .... i keep my fall decorations up until the day after Thanksgiving. But I say do whatever you're wanting to do. Do your own thing ... go by your own rules is my motto. | |
