07/20 Tuesday Weekly Challenge

Good Morning everyone!

I love to make layouts and cards with frames on them. For some reason it "centers" it for me. I am not sure why but I just like that it draws your eye in and it is visually appealing {or something like that, LOL!}


SO, with that being said This week's challenge is to create a layout or card that is framed. It is not to use a frame on a layout but make your own with cardstock or patterned paper and frame your project.


Here is an example and there are a few more on the blog. Here is the posting on the blog for the challenge, too.





You have until Midnight on July 26th to get these loaded. Please post your completed work to both here and the gallery. If you participate in at least one of our challenges this month you will be entered into a drawing for a gift card for the store!

Beautiful lo girlie, I want to be able to read the journaling.

This is a perfect challenge for the canvas and coordinations in the July kit.

aw, thanks! let me see...It is kind of a play on words with a Picture is worth a 1000 words but that is alot! LOL! so I did 100 words...

I updated the gallery with it...thanks guys!

I actually did my challenge layout on the same day it was posted - gasp! Fun challenge. Again, my color is off a bit...All the patterned paper is from the June kit, so you know what it really looks like irl. Thanks for this fun challenge, Ellen!

Aw, thanks guys! It was really a fun challenge, and I loved the beautiful papers in the June kit! Exciting news: My July kit just arrived!!! I'm about to open it!

beautiful layouts ladies! I will have to give this a go! I like the concept of framing and the black you used on your layout was perfect to outline the page.

Yay! I got to play this week! This is my beautiful cousin in the photo we were sent with her graduation announcement back in May. I used to babysit her growing up. Nutso! Anyhoooo..... I created this for this week's challenge to "frame" your photo on your layout. Fun stuff!!! Thanks for peeking! And I'm lovvvvvving everyone's layouts!
