Hunger Games

I picked up book one a few weeks ago and it's still sitting on my nightstand. I heard such good reviews on it that it peeked my interest, but I'm like the rest of you...not really into Sci Fi Thriller type books. I'm gonna give it a try though.

Oh boy-just finished book 3 last night, and I did NOT like it even close to as much as the first two. It was still well-written, but contained a LOT more violence, and sadness. Mmmm...rethinking my endorsement of this series. I still really liked the first two, but not the third, and you have to read the last one to find out what happens.

OMG... I felt the same way. I was so sad after reading the third book. I really can't decide if I'll go see the movies. When I'm reading, I can force my imagination to shut off -- not so sure I'll be able to when it's on the big screen.

Nothing compares to the first book that's for sure. My friend just called and I am sending it to her on my Nook,LOL

I love that you can share books on the nook--great feature!
