I just saw that on the news. They are on their way here.

Off to a scrappy weekend today! Can't wait. Too bad my throat is sore and raw right now. Gargled with salt water this morning to try and stop it. Fingers crossed!

Ellen--I usually do the hot salt water for a sore throat too... last time I bought the blue "Listerine" and it kicked my throat --I was surprised that it seemed to work better than the salt water.
And I sure hope you don't get those high winds and tornadoes! We had hail at 3am that was the size of nickles--crazy loud!
Here's a funny-- I stepped in mud yesterday in my Reebok shape-ups so I washed them off--put them out in the sun to dry..yep forgot them--well they got hail washed last night!

Yikes! Scrapbook News and Review got hit. Wondering if Colorbok made it out okay. I have an email into one of my bosses to see how he fared. He lives in Pinckney where another tornado was spotted yesterday. It was super dark to the east of us and ominus looking when I walked across campus yesterday.

Working today and I have 100 pages of my book left to read before 11 a.m. tomorrow for book club. I CAN DO THIS!!!! Never again will I agree to a 876 page book. I haven't touched my scrappy goodness in 3 weeks!

What is up with all these tornado's. We got close to getting hit twice 2 weeks ago. This weather is just crazy!

Today is our last day of Spring break, We all have had the flu for our whole Spring Break so I decided since we are over it to take the kids to the movies, I think we are going to see the Lorax.

It's was rough for us two weeks ago, too. I live just south of Hackleburg that was wiped out last April from tornadoes. Our church is there. The weather is just crazy. We have a chance of storms today but I don't think it's anything major. Stay safe, Ellen.
Did I mention that I'm so glad it's Friday?! I am ready for the weekend. I'm counting down the hours til I'm off work. Tonight we are planning to go out for supper and maybe get a movie. Just a low key, restful night at home.

So happy its Friday. My kiddos have off today from school and its a beautiful 61 here in Buffalo.. Hope everyone has an amazing day..

Living in Texas, tornadoes are really common. So far this year, it seems they are hitting in the most unlikely places! A couple of years ago our barn was torn to pieces by a tornado, but thankfully, we were fine! I just feel so bad for anyone who goes through one. You never look at another storm the same!

For the first time in two months, we have an easy weekend! No oncology appointments, no surgeries scheduled, and other than getting our oldest ready for varsity cheer tryouts and church, I plan on doing nothing but staying in my pjs and working on some projects!

what book are you reading?

i hope they are okay! those storms are so scary.....i think about those places and the people...and i get sick to my stomach and it's so awful

Mists of Avalon for book club today. We went to watch the MSU NCAA tournie game last night so I lost valuable reading time - I'm less than 70 pages. I'll try to finish up this morning

Wish I was getting more accomplished though... I take to many computer breaks, lol!

I am in my scrappy space but not sure I will get anything done!
