TGIF!!! 3/30

My daughter and I are taking a girls weekend--(YES!) we both need it. We are leaving later today and tomorrow we are going to see me nieces--so fun. Hopefully some fun photos come from this weekend!

Weekend plans for you?

I am SO thankful it is Friday because this next week our older two are on spring break!! We originally were going to get away, but then with my grandmother and my mom both having surgery, I am afraid to get too far away.

I hope you mom and grandma do well with surgeries and SPEEDY recovery.

My boys are on spring break next week. Julie's spring break was the 1st week of March--College and high school breaks didn't go together.. not sure if that is good or not. It would have been bad if we had wanted to go away as Julie still wants to go with us.

We actually have kind of a light schedule this weekend which is really nice. It seems like we are usually running constantly on the weekends. Tomorrow we are doing Easter at my Mother-In-Laws. Only time we could get all the kids (her grandkids) together at the same time. But that is about it for us schedule wise. Of course I have tons of scrappy stuff I want to work on so we will see how much I get accomplished!

Not too much going on around here. It's been a pretty busy week so I'm glad to take it easy this weekend. Nothing really except church on Sunday!

Dria, a girls weekend sounds wonderful! Haven't had one of those in a while! Have a great time.

Danielle, I hope your Mom and Grandma are doing well after their surgery.

Our Spring Break was this weekend. I had to work so we didn't get to go anywhere. Tomorrow is Carley's birthday party. She is having a luau at the park. I've got to finish some last minute things tonight to be ready for tomorrow. I still haven't planned what we are serving besides cake!! ACK!! I have got to get busy!!

ugh. We have owen's swimming championships tomorrow. They don't start until 2 30 and they are a good 6-8 hours long. He qualified for 5 events. So proud of him. I hope he metals this year! He is a fish..I just wish he took it a bit more seriously but that's me, not him

And my bf's having her baby shower Saturday, too. Her daughter qualified too so we are probably going to have to leave early.

Oh and tonight is Hunger Games! So that is it in a nutshell. Hoping Sunday it's nice out so I can get some yard work done.

Then, hubby has to pack-he is off to Oregon on Monday (military trip.)

Wow, very powerful production it looks like. How was it??

It was INCREDIBLE!!! I honestly can't say enough good things about it! Sounds like they are going to air the performance we went to on Daystar (a Christian TV channel) this Friday. I highly recommend checking it out!!! I think they are showing it multiple times that day.

Just wanted to clarify that both my mother and grandmother have already had surgery. My moms was on March 5, and my grandmothers was March 7. We just were not sure about whether they would both be undergoing radiation and/or chemo, and I could not get too far away. Anyway, thank you all for the prayers Never can have too many!!

wow-you have a lot going on! they both had surgery, and you were in a cast? yikes!
