I hate Wine

And I was rudely reminded why this morning when I woke up with a headache the size of Texas and a very acidic and foul stomach after drinking a few glasses last night.

I think I will just stick with my tequila.

jk try the stuff w/o sulfates..that's the stuff that kills ya. you and that tequila..that's so impressive, LOL!

I was like, hate wine? How is that possible? Wine is proof God wants us to be happy. Poor Renee, I have had those mornings. I am with Ellen, watch the sulfates. Also beware of heavy tannin wines, generally Cabs, because those are known to lead to the red wine hangover too.

bwahahahaha - yeah - I'm certainly not a wine expert and I was drinking the ever so sweet Moscato. TORE. ME. UP. I'm still suffering.....I guess next time I get a hankering for punishment I will have to try the one without sulfates...

I'm with you on the tequila...there was this party where I was in charge of making margaritas. I made some strong margarita's...so strong that people stopped drinking them. So i started drinking it straight...needless to say the next morning was not good to me, and i've not touched it since!

Everything in moderation! I'm a spinner and a puker, so I have to take it easy! Cheap date...

to be honest I am glad my spinning days are over!! I might drink a little, but no more where I am gonna have a hangover so bad the next day i can't do anything...just not worth it to me!!

That's me, Jessi. I can't justify wasting a whole day in my old age. I like a couple drinks every once and awhile, but that's about it.

Well, I didn't mean that I spin from "present" experience... rather "past" experience, lol! It's been a wayyyy long time for me, we are talking circa 1995, lol!! I could never drink with the college kids anymore!

I'm not a wine drinker either. Ever since I was a young girl and drank a big bottle of Boone's Farms Strawberry Hill. You all have probably never even heard of that wine. I was too young. Too drunk. Got caught and grounded for a summer. Never have been partial to wine since then. Can't drink beer either....makes me burp like a boilermaker.

My drinking days have been long over!! Still love to have a few when I'm on vacation though - especially if it involves a beach and warm sun and a frosty drink w/a slice of pineapple. That I can do!

Boone's Farm? Oh yeah, we've got it at the grocery store! It's Wisconsin, there's a tavern on every corner and you can buy liquor at the gas station. We're a bunch of boozers! What else do you do during long winters?

Ohh, Patti... I know all about Strawberry Hill wine too! I went to college in Kentucky and that was a pretty popular drink for "pre-partying", lol!!

Oh Patti -- Yes, we Southern Girls know all about Boone's Farm! I don't drink it now, but I definitely remember walking to the liquor store, in the snow, back in college to pick up some Boone's Farm! Renee, hope you're feeling better!

LOL, we use to drink Boone's farm when we were younger, too!

No kidding about the Boone's Farm strawberry hill!!! Too funny!

hahhaa - Patti - I know all about Strawberry Hill too - besides Coors light that was our choice of alcohol in High School! Cheap and easy on our party funds!

All I know - is I'm definitely staying away from the sweet stuff -

and Lori - I was a spinner when I was younger but it's been YEARS since I've gotten to that point. I hate that feeling.
